After 40 years in dermatology, Professor Volker Steinkraus is launching his own skincare line, combining the best of home and high-tech.
He remains true to himself. "Evidence-based" is Volker Steinkraus, Professor of Dermatology,'s favorite phrase. Here in the Nordheide region, where he presents his new skincare line, he's also concerned with medical evidence: "Where do we have good data and evidence? What is good after 40 years of experience, what really works and is also well-tolerated?" His answer is a modular line named after him that "uncompromisingly" combines nature and science, and in which he is "involved from A to Z."
Sustainability and climate neutrality are also part of the concept: The packaging is made of grass-fiber paper, and the product dispensers are made of monomaterial, a single-material product that is 99 percent recyclable. "TetCode4" is the name of the active complex developed exclusively by Steinkraus that forms the foundation of the line. Vitamins are also included as additional ingredients, which "bring the pure molecule to the place of action."
