Today, November 1, 2021, the day has finally arrived. After years of preparation, my project for my own skincare line is going online. The line reflects what I consider to be meaningful—far from finished—but well underway.
Ingredients come and go. Few stay, many go. Skincare strategies and concepts are also dynamic. They are constantly subject to new findings from research and development and must prove themselves in daily practice. Not everything that's new is good. Only what works is good. Even with our packaging, not everything is perfect yet—we're already working hard on it.
In the past, cosmetics were meant to cleanse, care, and protect. Now, the bar is set much higher. Cosmetics should not only cleanse, care, and protect, but also regenerate, activate, and improve the structure and function of our skin. Certain substances like vitamins A and C can do this. Their effect should neither be overestimated nor underestimated. Skincare is a long-distance race. You always only know after years whether you've done everything right
»Skin care is not a luxury, but a commodity.«

The price-performance ratio has to be right. Cosmetics that are only made for a small segment of the population lack credibility. This is what distinguishes skincare from fashion. Fashion is not something to wear, but something to dream about. Skincare is not something to dream about, but something to need. Skincare doesn't have to be cheap, but it does have to be affordable, and skincare must reflect the knowledge of our time – everything must also be simple, clear, and well-structured.
It took me decades to understand and read the skin. With my active ingredient formula TetCode4, I attempted to combine substances from four different classes (1) vitamins, (2) niacin, (3) botanicals, and (4) biomimetics into a simple and effective application concept for every skin type – A Unifying Concept of Skincare – nothing more, nothing less.
I wish you and your skin much joy with TetCode4®.
Yours
