Our (10) is a high-quality UV protection cream with excellent skin compatibility . With its SPF 50+, it covers the entire UV spectrum with a modern filter system against both UV-B and UV-A rays. Our protection system does not contain the whitening physical or mineral components titanium dioxide and zinc oxide.
The higher-energy UV-B rays essentially only penetrate the epidermis, where they can cause acute damage such as sunburn. Over time, UV-B rays can cause chronic skin damage and the development of malignant skin lesions.
The lower-energy UV-A rays penetrate significantly deeper into the dermis and do not cause acute damage. However, they can cause chronic skin damage such as malignant skin lesions and also accelerate skin aging with loss of elasticity, accelerated collagen degradation, and accumulation of inferior connective tissue in the dermis ("solar scarring").
In addition to its high-quality blend of broad-spectrum filters, the product also contains vitamin E as an important antioxidant and the biomimetic rosemary for broad cellular protection as well as sunflower oil as a nourishing active ingredient carrier.
It is free of octrocrylenes, whose potential health effects are currently controversial, and it is "coral reef safe," meaning it is free of ingredients that can harm sensitive aquatic ecosystems. The product is vegan and free of synthetic fragrances, silicone, parabens, and mineral oils.
Sun Protect is suitable for all skin types, including dry and sensitive skin, as well as combination and mature skin. The product is compatible with the Face Care Light, Medium, and Rich creams and offers excellent compatibility with previously applied skincare products. It leaves a pleasant feeling on the skin after application.
