Additional antioxidant protective mechanisms complement this: carotenoids such as xanthophylls from the microalgae Tetradesmus obliquus and beta-carotene help the skin deal with oxidative stress – including from visible light (HEV, Blue Light). Vitamin E stabilises cell membranes; rosemary extract adds further antioxidant protection. At the same time, the formulation strengthens the skin barrier and reduces transepidermal water loss. The texture is light, absorbs quickly, and leaves no white cast.
